As a dedicated member of the Anti-Hunger Coalition, I am actively contributing towards alleviating hunger in Louisiana. I am reaching out regarding the suggested revisions to three vital programs: The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), and USDA Food in Disasters.

Regarding the proposed modifications to TEFAP, I am fully supportive of the provision that recommends State agencies establish income eligibility criteria within the range of 185% to 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Furthermore, I wholeheartedly endorse all other proposed regulatory adjustments for TEFAP.

With respect to CSFP, I am in favor of the suggested alteration to revise the limit of income eligibility standards to 185% of the federal poverty level. I firmly believe that this threshold should not be decreased by any State. I also concur with all the other regulatory modifications proposed for CSFP.

Additionally, I offer my support for every proposed provision concerning USDA Food in Disasters.

It is my firm belief that these regulatory amendments will yield positive outcomes for families grappling with food insecurity and hunger. These changes hold the potential to make a significant impact and bring relief to those in need.
